When I first got to college I thought I was going to be a history major. After hours of research where I scoured JSTOR and painstakingly learned how to use the microfilm reader I realized I didn’t like being a history major. Don’t get me wrong I find history fascinating but my professors wanted me to cut down my papers, shave out the fun facts and I just couldn’t kill those darlings. These papers are what’s left of my foray into the study of history.
